I apologize to the forum for the way I responded to Fred's comment, and directly to Fred. Kyle, I'm sorry you got wrapped up in this, but I can see you were protecting Fred's interests. HOWEVER, the pictures you have shown dont prove anything. All you have shown are differences in the pump assembly casing. None of that stuff make any difference. The two gear looking items are the pump itself. IF you count the teeth, measure the diameter of the part and the thickness of those gears, you will, in fact, see that they are the same. What this means simply is that the pump itself will flow the same amount of oil for both the NA as well as the TT. Yes, there are differences between the years, but those are cosemtic differences in the casings and not the pump mechanism itself. So when I say that the pumps are the same, I am 100% correct. When you say the pump assemblies aren't the same, you are 100% correct. But the functional aspect isn't the casing and its differences, but the pump mechanism itself.
: oil pumps? For those interested, take a look in Tech for the difference between the TT and the NA oil pumps. Look for Kyle(houston)'s post. Kyle put up some good pictures of the difference......ASH.
